LOCATION
Where is Palace Magnolia?
Our hotel is in a quiet, residential area of Tortoreto Lido, less than 100 metres away from the beach, 2 minutes away on foot.
How far is the hotel from the centre?
The hotel is about 800 metres from the central area of the beach, 10 minutes away on foot.
Is a transfer service from/to the railway stations available?
Yes, it is. On request, we organize free transfers from and to the stations of Tortoreto, Giulianova and Alba Adriatica.
BOOKING
Why is it worth booking directly with the hotel?
Our direct rates are more advantageous than those on online portals because they do not include any commissions.
What time is the room available on the day of arrival?
The room is available from 2:00 pm. You can arrive at the hotel early in the morning, park, leave your luggage, immediately use the swimming pool and the beach service. We will be glad to make the rooms available as soon as possible even before 2:00 pm, especially to families with small children.
Is a tourist tax charged?
Yes, the municipality of Tortoreto charges a tourist tax from 15 June to 31 August, amounting to € 1.00 per night for each guest over the age of 14 for a maximum of 10 consecutive nights.
What is the tourist tax cashback?
The tourist tax amount will be refunded in the form of a discount coupon to be used for future stays for you or transferable to whoever you want.
What is check-out time? Is it possible to use the services even after leaving the hotel?
Check-out is at 10.00 am on the day of departure.
Subsequently, the beach service and the car park are no longer available unless previously agreed. For the beach service, you can request any daily supplement directly from the beach manager or a late check-out at the hotel.

What is late check-out?
Late check out allows for late departure with a personalized supplement based on the services requested by the guest (use of the room, restaurant, swimming pool, beach, parking). The service is subject to availability.
How can I send the deposit and pay for my stay?
You can send the deposit by bank transfer. The stay is paid on the day of arrival by Visa and Master Card credit card, debit card, cheque and cash.
Is cancellation free? What if I pay the deposit?
Yes, cancellation is free, with full refund of the deposit if notified within 7 days of arrival.
In any case, after this deadline, it is always possible to recover it on other dates of the current or the following year.

AT THE BEACH
Does the hotel have a private beach?
Yes, the hotel has a well-equipped and clean establishment at one of the best beaches in Tortoreto, the Magnolia Beach & Restaurant.
What is the beach like?
The beach is of fine sand, without pebbles, golden with shallow waters that slope gently, very suitable for children, awarded with the Blue Flag and Green Paediatric Flag for many years.
Are there areas equipped for children on the beach?
Yes, of course, our bathing establishment is child friendly. It has a nice playground on a soft fenced green carpet, a fenced and shaded mini-club area, a changing table in the beach bathrooms and in the restaurant.
Is there an entertainment service at the beach?
Yes, but our staff is never intrusive to ensure true relaxation by the sea. The program includes different activities for adults and children every day, both in the morning and in the afternoon, except on Sundays.
How are umbrellas assigned on the beach?
Position and row are assigned based on availability on the day of arrival.
IN THE ROOM
What is the difference between comfort and standard rooms?
The comfort rooms are completely renovated and are equipped with a mini fridge. The standard rooms are in excellent condition, but the bathrooms have not yet been renovated.
Do the bathrooms have a shower or a bathtub? Do they have a balcony?
The bathrooms all have a shower box and a balcony with drying rack, table and chairs.
Are the rooms overlooking the sea?
No, because the hotel is not directly facing the sea. Only a few rooms on the upper floors have a side sea view and are assigned on request at no surcharge.
AT THE SWIMMING POOL
Does the hotel have a swimming pool? How big and deep is it? Is it suitable for children?
The pool has a semi-Olympic size of 20 x 8 metres. It has a variable depth of 1.60 to 3.80 metres and a blade of water. It is surrounded by a large edge with loungers and tables as well as a small, heated swimming pool with whirlpool, 60 to 90 cm deep, ideal for children.

Do you have an internal wellness centre?
Yes, it is located on the first floor and offers massages and beauty treatments for every need.
SPORTS AND RECREATIONAL MOMENTS
Is there a tennis court? Do you have rackets?
Yes, we have a professional clay tennis court as an additional service, but we do not have rackets.
What are the spaces equipped for children in the hotel?
The hotel has a beautiful large garden with a playground and the indoor Magnolia Kids room where recreational workshops and after-lunch snacks take place from 2.30 to 4.00 pm.

Are pets allowed in the hotel?
No, pets are not allowed in the hotel and on our private beach.
PARKING
Does the hotel have a car park?
Yes, the hotel has three free parking areas subject to availability, and it is also possible to park for free in the neighbouring streets.
WI-FI
Is Wi-Fi connection available?
Yes, you can take advantage of free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and at the beach.
AT THE RESTAURANT
Is the kitchen equipped to prepare baby meals? Can I cook my them myself?
Yes, we prepare small meals such as vegetable soups and broths according to your instructions. There is also a kitchenette for mothers on the ground floor with induction hob, refrigerator, microwave, blender, bottle warmer, sterilizer, saucepans, colourful dishes, oil and parmesan.
Are you organized for special dietary needs? Do you have a children’s or vegetarian menu?
Yes, we are. Please notify us of any food intolerances at the time of booking and at check-in. The menu includes 4 choices of meat, fish, vegetables and tasty dishes for children every day.
Does the stay start with lunch on arrival?
Yes, in case of full board the stay begins with lunch on arrival and ends with breakfast on the day of departure.
How is the restaurant service organized?
The menu is chosen in the evening for the day after. Dishes are served at the table and the buffets are supervised by our staff.
What are the restaurant’s opening hours?
Breakfast is served from 7.30 to 9.30 am, lunch from 12.30 to 1.30 pm and dinner from 7.30 to 8.30 pm.
Can I have lunch instead of dinner with the half board option?
Yes, you can choose your favourite meal by informing us in advance.
FOR THE LITTLE ONES
Are highchairs or booster seats available in the restaurant?
Yes of course, and we also have disposable bibs.
Do you provide strollers, toilet boosters, stools and sleeping potties for the little ones?
Yes, we have everything for our little guests. Just ask for it at the reception desk.
Can I hire bicycles?
Yes, the hotel offers free bicycles for the first hour of use, equipped with seats for the little ones.
WHAT TO DO AT PALACE MAGNOLIA
What are the most useful services near the hotel?
A few steps from the hotel you will find the promenade, dotted with bathing establishments, pizzerias and restaurants. In the neighbouring streets there is a supermarket, a greengrocer’s, a launderette and a tobacconist’s. What’s more, 400 metres away there is a chemist’s and a medical test centre providing specialist examinations.
What can I visit in the area during the day and in the evening?
Tortoreto is an increasingly slow- and bike-friendly location: you can move around on foot or by bike.
The promenade is beautiful, ideal for running and training thanks to its two outdoor fitness areas facing the sea, its gardens and playgrounds for children, and its long promenade stretching to Alba Adriatica and Giulianova.
By car, you can quickly reach the beautiful hills of Controguerra, Atri, Civitella del Tronto and Campli, as well as nearby Ascoli and San Benedetto del Tronto.
